November is Ocean Wise Month, which means that Ocean Wise and our partners will be hosting a number of events and promotions to encourage all seafood lovers to choose ocean-friendly seafood the next time they visit a restaurant or market. Help us in celebrating Ocean Wise's commitment to keeping our oceans healthy by taking our Facebook pledge to eat sustainable seafood. Here's what's happening this month! 
 

Ocean Wise Chowder Chowdown

Join us at the Ocean Wise Chowder Chowdown in Toronto and Vancouver! Top chefs will go head-to-head and compete in the ultimate sustainable seafood battle. Come join us in tasting the most delectable sustainable seafood dishes, paired with local beer, and then vote for your favourite dish!  

Toronto: November 2, 6pm, at the Fairmont Royal York

Vancouver: November 23, 7pm, at the Vancouver Aquarium

   Sandhill Wine Promotion in B.C. Liquor Stores   

 

From November 1st - 30th, visit any B.C. Liquor Store and for every bottle of Sandhill Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah and Cabernet Merlot purchased, a $1 donation will be made to Ocean Wise. Please drink responsibly.

 

 

Sip & Slurp with 1 Fish 2 Fish (Langley)

1Fish 2 Fish are celebrating Ocean Wise Month with their 2ndannual Sip & Slurp event on Nov. 17. Your ticket includes an evening of Ocean Wise creations expertly created by Mizuna Culinary, wines and pairings by Township 7 Vineyards and Winery and guest Oyster shucker and producer, Rob Tyrone most fondly known by his Ocean WiseTM certified Effingham Oysters.
